Goodwood is a British motor racing circuit built in 1948 from the airfield perimeter roads of RAF Westhampnett in the south of England. It held top tier competition through to '66 when it closed to racing due to the owners refusal to add any more chicanes in a bid to slow down the increasingly faster cars of the day. Since '98 historic racing has returned in the annual Goodwood Revival.
